  23. of places to send them! Hm. Anyway,

  43. This time, once again not without
  44. trouble, but quite on time anyway.
  45. The trouble is that a lot of votes
  46. from the homepage was lost in
  47. cyberspace due to a faulty
  48. E-Mail-adress, but now that has been
  49. corrected, and so we might even
  50. register the votes you kindly submit
  51. to us in this way... Of course the
  52. making and setting up of all the nice
  53. parts of the »CL8:Eurochart» were frantic as
  54. usual, but still we have to thank
  55. »CL8:Newt/Abyss^Crux» for being there for us
  56. in a tight spot.
  57. We believe that this is the best Depth
  58. issue of the »CL8:Eurochart» so far, with
  59. the gallery section booming with nice
  60. photographs and the Eurostat being
  61. back in the chart section. And now
  62. that we have the homepage finally
  63. perfected, we certainly think that
  64. issue #30 will be even better, despite
  65. what certain older elite pensionists
  66. might think. But until then, enjoy
  67. THIS issue, and remember to support us
  68. with votes, clip-art, photographs,
  69. modules (if you think yourself good
  70. enough... We get quite a few of
  71. those), articles. And of course, if
  72. someone out there would like to code
  73. an intro for #30, contact the editors!

  84. finding pictures for the stats in the
  85. internet. I must say that quite many
  86. of the Amiga-groups have got
  87. themselves a homepage. Some of them
  88. are ugly (eg. Depth!), and some of
  89. them are sensationally great (eg.
  90. Scoopex). Still, I wonder: Are us
  91. internetdudes loosing the picture? And
  92. is that the reason why somebody think
  93. that the amigascene is falling apart?
  94. Couldn't it be, that a lot of people
  95. are just as helpless as I was five
  96. years ago when I entered the scene.
  97. The newest productions I could get
  98. hold of were two months old, and they
  99. were hot! I could often watch some
  100. charts, and there were major holes in
  101. »CL0:my mind regarding the top demos: I had
  102. never seen them, sometimes, I haven't
  103. even heard of the group. PERHAPS,
  104. there are a lot of sceners out there
  105. that have lost the touch with 'us'.
  106. Perhaps there are lot of sceners out
  107. there that didn't buy acceleratorcard,
  108. extra RAM, netcards, modems, and all
  109. the other fancy stuff that has been
  110. made for our brilliant computer.
  111. Should we just forget them - let them
  112. buy a PC and leave them without any
  113. hope of realizing that the amiga was
  114. the future? I say NO! The first step
  115. in the right direction is this chart,
  116. I beleive. I'm making sure that
  117. everything runs on a standard 1200.
  118. That's my own computer by the way. I
  119. even compile the source on this
  120. pityful Amiga. If we forget to be

  124. compatible with the past, we make the
  125. only mistake that never hit the PCs:
  126. Dropping a lot of people that don't
  127. upgrade.
  128. I have some friends that once were
  129. active in the scene, but just went
  130. tired of constantly have to buy
  131. expansions to watch the newest demos.
  132. And I understand them!

  134. all the ones with modems, fancy
  135. hardware etc:
